TRAINING
This ERASMUS+ heritage volunteer exchange will allow participants to collaborate in a collective heritage preservation action with volunteers from Portugal, Poland and France. Together, they will help preserve a heritage with centuries of history and learn about the fascinating history of Occitania through beautiful sites from various historical eras.
Peyrusse-le-Roc is a small village in the south of France, with a population of 50, which had its heyday in the Middle Ages. During the stay, participants will restore a path between the Bastidou House and the Porte de Barbacanne using traditional paving techniques (calade), and discover the heritage of the region.
The work will be supervised by professionals and will take place for 6 hours per day, over 3 consecutive days. In their free time, participants will explore the region's medieval heritage.
SUPPORT AND SPONSORSHIP
This project is supported by the ERASMUS+ programme, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
