TRAINING

 

This Erasmus+ volunteer exchange invites participants to join a collective heritage preservation effort, together with volunteers from Portugal, Poland, and France. Throughout the experience, they will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the conservation of a heritage with centuries of history, while discovering the rich historical and cultural heritage of Occitania through significant sites from different eras.

 

Peyrusse-le-Roc , a small village in southern France with about 50 inhabitants, reached its peak during the Middle Ages. During their stay, participants will work on restoring a historic path between the Bastidou House and the Barbican Gate, using traditional construction techniques. Simultaneously, they will be able to explore the region's heritage through a diverse cultural program.

 

The workshop will be supervised by specialized professionals and will take place over 6 hours a day, in periods of 3 consecutive days. In their free time, participants will have the opportunity to discover the surrounding medieval heritage.
