At Spira LAB we are (also) dedicated to bringing children and young people closer to the Cultural Heritage of our country.
We value the authentic and the unexpected. We enjoy challenges and exploration.
And we believe that heritage is an inexhaustible source of learning and enjoyment!
OUR PROGRAMMING
We have designed a set of profoundly enriching programs centered on the cultural and natural resources of Portugal , almost always with the Alentejo plain as our "home": open, spacious, accessible, authentic, safe, and ready to be experienced in an enriching way , and aimed at Families, Schools, and Organizations alike.

The Schools in Heritage program, now integrated into the National Arts Plan , allows groups of students from Basic Education (1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles), Secondary Education and Vocational Education to visit the interior of Portugal.
Arriving by train or bus, students spend a day in a rural village, enjoying walks through the countryside and discovering the cultural, natural, and intangible heritage, always with a strong "hands-on" component, learning through experience and doing.
